IskolarPH displays third-party advertisements via ad networks. These advertisements help support the operational costs of maintaining this free platform for Filipino students. Advertisements are clearly distinguished from scholarship content. We do not endorse any advertised products or services. IskolarPH does not share your personal information with advertisers, as we do not collect any personal information (see Section 4 — Data Privacy).
Under Philippine law (DPA Advisory Opinion 47), cookie consent mechanisms are not mandated in a specific format, but transparency is required. 2. Not a Government Website
IskolarPH is NOT a government website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Government of the Philippines or any of its agencies, including but not limited to the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), or any other government office.
We act only as an information-sharing and content platform to help students easily discover scholarship opportunities. For official announcements, final eligibility criteria, and application submissions, users must always refer to the official websites and portals of the concerned agencies or institutions. IskolarPH does not process applications and does not guarantee scholarship approval.
3. Copyright & Intellectual Property
Under the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (RA 8293, Section 175), facts, news, and information are not copyrightable subject matter. Scholarship names, deadlines, eligibility criteria, and provider details published on IskolarPH constitute factual public information.
All descriptions and original content on IskolarPH are written in our own words. We do not copy or reproduce copyrighted content from source websites. If you believe any content on IskolarPH infringes your copyright, please contact us immediately at enochdevvv@gmail.com with the specific URL and details. We will review and remove infringing content within 48 hours.
4. Data Privacy (RA 10173)
IskolarPH does not collect, store, or process any personal information from its users. We have no registration forms, no user accounts, no cookies that track personal identity, and no third-party analytics services. Advertising scripts served through ad networks may place anonymous cookies for frequency capping and ad delivery, as disclosed in Section 1.5.
The Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) governs the processing of personal information. Since IskolarPH processes no personal information, the provisions of RA 10173 do not apply to our operations. Our chatbot (IskoBot) does not store conversation history or associate messages with any identifiable individual.
