BFAR Fisheries Scholarship Program (FSP)
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Fisheries Scholarship Program provides full college scholarships to students pursuing BS Fisheries at recognized institutions. Three tracks available: Fishery Industry Leader Grant (FILG) for academically gifted students, Fisherfolk Children Educational Grant (FCEG) for children of registered fisherfolk, and Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs) Grant. Covers tuition, stipend, and allowances. Apply through BFAR Regional Offices, Provincial Fisheries Offices, or via the BFAR E-Scholarship Application System at fsp.bfar.da.gov.ph.
Eligibility Requirements
- 1Natural-born Filipino citizen
- 2Not more than 25 years old at time of exam
- 3High school graduate with no college units earned
- 4Pursuing BS Fisheries at any recognized institution
- 5FILG: Academically gifted students
- 6FCEG: Children of registered fisherfolk
- 7ICCs/IPs: Member of Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples
