DOST ASTHRDP Graduate Scholarship

The Accelerated Science and Technology Human Resource Development Program (ASTHRDP) is a full-time graduate scholarship for Master's and Doctoral programs in DOST-identified priority S&T fields. Implemented through the National Science Consortium member-universities, it aims to accelerate the production of high-level R&D human resources. Scholars receive tuition, monthly stipend, learning materials allowance, transportation allowance, insurance, thesis/dissertation grants, and research support grants. Requires one year of service in the Philippines for every year of scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 1Filipino citizen
  • 2Must pass admission to a graduate program at an ASTHRDP member university
  • 3BS degree (for MS) or MS degree (for PhD) in a priority S&T field
  • 4In good health with medical certificate
  • 5Valid NBI Clearance required
  • 6Must pursue full-time study (not allowed to be employed)
