DOST Junior Level Science Scholarship (JLSS)

The DOST-SEI Junior Level Science Scholarships (JLSS) provide grants to qualified regular second-year college students (incoming third-year) enrolled in priority S&T courses. Three types are available: RA 7687 (for economically disadvantaged), Merit (for high academic aptitude), and RA 10612 (Fast-Tracked S&T Scholarship Act — for future science and mathematics secondary school teachers). Benefits include tuition, monthly stipend, book allowance, and thesis support.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 1Natural-born Filipino citizen
  • 2Regular 2nd year college student in a DOST-SEI priority S&T course
  • 3GWA of at least 83% with no conditional or failing mark
  • 4Of good moral character and in good health
  • 5For RA 7687 track: Family income within poverty threshold
  • 6Must not have previously taken the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Exam
