GSIS Scholarship Program (GSP)

The GSIS Scholarship Program (GSP), launched in 1998, provides educational financial assistance to dependents of active GSIS members. It offers 400 slots per year, covering ₱40,000 per year in actual tuition and miscellaneous fees, plus a ₱3,000 monthly allowance. Scholars must maintain satisfactory academic performance. A separate GSIS STEM Scholarship Program (GSSP) offers 1,000 slots with ₱15,000/year for STEM students. Visit the GSIS website for details.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 1Filipino citizen
  • 2Must be a dependent of an active GSIS member
  • 3For GSSP: Incoming first-year college student in AY 2026-2027
  • 4For GSSP: Accepted into a STEM course at a CHED-recognized institution
  • 5Meet academic requirements set by GSIS
  • 6Nomination/endorsement from the school
