MEXT Scholarship (Japan)

The Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) Scholarship is a fully-funded program by the Japanese Ministry of Education for international students. Six categories are available: Research, Teacher Training, Undergraduate, Japanese Studies, College of Technology, Specialized Training College, and Young Leaders Program. Apply through the Japanese Embassy in Manila. Covers tuition, accommodation, monthly living allowance, and round-trip airfare. Note: Teacher Training and Japanese Studies categories had an earlier February deadline. Check the embassy website for category-specific dates.
