Thailand International Postgraduate Programme (TIPP)

The Thailand International Postgraduate Programme (TIPP), administered by the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provides postgraduate scholarships to citizens of developing countries including the Philippines. Introduced in 2000, TIPP offers Master's degree programs (1–2 years) at top Thai universities. Six thematic areas: Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for SDGs, Agriculture & Food Security, Climate Change & Environmental Issues, Public Health & Wellness, Trade & Economy, and Inclusive Development. Partner universities include Chiang Mai University, Mahidol University, Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, and others. Covers tuition, living allowance, accommodation, health insurance, and other benefits. Applications typically open November–February each year via TICA's online portal.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 1Filipino citizen (citizen of a TIPP-eligible developing country)
  • 2Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 3Meet the specific academic requirements of the chosen course and university
  • 4Good command of English (courses are taught in English/international programs)
  • 5In good health
  • 6Must submit application via TICA online portal with required documents
