Türkiye Bursları (Türkiye Scholarships)
Türkiye Bursları (Türkiye Scholarships) is Turkey's flagship fully-funded government scholarship program for international students, administered by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB). It covers Associate, Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD degrees at prestigious Turkish universities. Benefits include university & department placement, tuition fees, monthly stipend (Undergraduate: 4,500 TL, Master's: 6,500 TL, PhD: 9,000 TL), free accommodation, 1-year Turkish language course, health insurance, and round-trip flight tickets (at start and graduation). Also includes cultural and social activities. Applications open annually January 10 – February 20 via the Türkiye Scholarships Application System (TBBS). Note: Health sciences (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy) are NOT covered at undergraduate level.
Eligibility Requirements
- 1Open to all nationalities including Filipinos (non-Turkish citizens)
- 2For Bachelor's: under age 21; high school graduate with minimum 70% grade average
- 3For Master's: under age 30; bachelor's degree holder with minimum 75% grade average
- 4For PhD: under age 35; master's degree holder with minimum 75% grade average
- 5Not currently enrolled in a Turkish university at the same level
- 6Good health condition
